tetsubinatuIt's been a long week and it really didn't help that I accidentally ate gluten twice, early in the week. But I did get 3.7 boxes done and - with my elder son Bru's help - a broken desk mostly smashed into binnable pieces and binned. Tomorrow is Bin Night and there is only enough room in it for tonight's kitchen garbage disposal.
I also collected my new washing machine and Bru installed it. I am so happy to finally have a working machine again! It broke the week before Christmas and I was too foggy-brained and broke to sort out what to do about it. But Bru lent me the money last week and I hopped on graysonline.com and won a 6.5kg demo model for under $200 (RRP $649)! Supposedly it had scratches, but the marks were only sticker residue in the end. It works like a dream. No more carting everything to the humid, echoing laundromat and shoving insane numbers of coins in the slots for the priviledge of clean underwear.
